Annual meeting Intricare

The first annual meeting will take place in from March 6 until March 9, 2018, and will be organised by Universitätsklinikum Aachen. All consortium members and early stage researchers will be invited. Consortium body meetings and training courses will be part of the programme. Furthermore courses, workshops and invited lectures will be given. More information will follow as soon as possible.

First INTRICARE researchers are appointed

Jul 10 - 2017 In July 2017, the first INTRICARE researchers started their projects. Shruti Bhargava started her project “Characterisation of the recently identified "Calcification blocking factor"(CBF) and isolation of unknown mediators inhibiting calcification processes” at UK Aachen under the supervision of Joachim Jankowski and Ulf Hedin. Olivia Waring was appointed at Maastricht University on the project “Dissecting the cross-interaction between vascular microcalcification and inflammation” under the supervision of Erik Biessen and Goran Hansson.

INTRICARE Kick-off meeting March 2017

Mar 10 - 2017 The official kick-off meeting of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN INTRICARE was held in Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek in Vaals, The Netherlands, on March 9 and 10 2017. As the coordinating institution of the consortium, CARIM School for Cardiovascular Diseases of Maastricht University invited all project partners to this two-day-meeting. During the meeting, each Work Package leader presented the activities to be carried out. The coordinating institution presented and advised the project partners on the management and financial aspects of the Marie Curie ITN programmes and a recruitment strategy were presented. The next INTRICARE meeting will take place in March 2018 by Maastricht University.
